Volunteers are important to all organisations especially sports organisations. They are what keep many sports going and facilities looking good. Here at Hockey Southland we want to grow our volunteer base ensuring that our multi million dollar facilities are at their best.

General volunteers to do odd jobs around the facilities are hard to find as we know allot of people volunteer at other organisations or are busy with work and families. The facilities for hockey are in need of weekly maintenance and cleaning (especially outdoors) and the two associations (Eastern and Invercargill) are always looking for those helpers even if its a few hours a month.
